Public Holiday = hiking + lor mee

Today is Good Friday, a public holiday in Singapore. I got up early (even though I worked 18 hours – no joke – yesterday) and met some friends for a hike. We started our hike at the Harbourfront MRT and walked up a million stairs to Mt. Faber, and continued towards the iconic bridge on Alexandra Road. At the end of the hike, someone guessed we had walked 10 km. (It was actually closer to 3 km).

After the hike we went to a famous lor mee stall in Tiong Bahru. Lor mee is a wonderful noodle dish pork and garlic, covered in some sort of gravy. It was delicious, and worth the long line.
