Heritage Tour

On Saturday, my Singaporean Fulbright friend Michael took Kristin and I out on a heritage tour of Singapore. It was an amazing day, and he took us to parts of the city I hadn’t visited yet.

We started at The Old Parliament House, and then walked around the Singapore River, through the Civic District and Robertson Quay. Michael then took us to Chinatown to eat lunch, for a short stop in Ang Mo Kio, and we visited the amazingly serene and beautiful Lian Shan Shuang Lin Monastery in Toa Payoh.

Here are some photos from our adventure:

(I can’t seem to figure out how to put captions on the photos – so sorry!)

  1. Hi there! I am a teacher in charge of a drama club, and I am very interested in this intergenerational event you have created. I would love for my students to participate. Is this something u do every year?
